Ans 1. The main function of Golgi Apparatus is secretory. Golgi Apparatus acts
as a way station for the storage, processing,
and packaging of various cellular secretion
It packages material synthesized in the cell
and dispatched them
Golgi Apparatus is also involved in the synthesis of the cell wall, plasma membrane, and lysosomes.

Q 2. difference between Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum(RER)and smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum

Ans 2. RER:- It contains flattened sacs called
Cisternae
SER:- It is mainly formed of vesicles and tubules
RER:- Ribosomes are attached to the outer surface of its membrane
SER:- it doesn't contain ribosomes.

RER:- it is specialized to synthesize proteins.

SER:- It is specialized to synthesize lipids and steroids

and protein.the vacuole is fill with cell sap which is a watery solution rich in amino acid, protein, minerals,and metabolic waste

Leucoplasts:- store food in form of carbohydrates ,fats, proteins.

Ans. Prokaryotic:- size of cell is generally small (1-10mm)
Eukaryotic:- size of the cell generally large (5-100mm) .
Prokaryotic cells :-nucleus is not present surrounding by nuclear membrane
Eukaryotic:- nucleas is present
Prokaryotic:- it contains single chromosome
Eukaryotic:- it contains more than 1 chromosome
Prokaryotic:- membrane bound cell organelles are absent.
Eukaryotic:- membrane bound cell organelles such as mitochondria , lysosome plastids
